Hello and in answer to my own question, I'm Rob Kemp, freelance journalist and author of The Expectant Dad's Survival Guide (Vermillion £10.99). I specialise in writing on the subject of becoming a dad and dealing with all the fun, frivolity and F-word-filled angst that fatherhood brings. But when I can (as in when someone pays me) I also regularly write about men's health and fitness issues.

Some very wise folk, or possibly complete chancers, like what I do so much that they've made me a contributing editor to Men's Health magazine and website. I've also become the editor-at-large for the dads' magazine FQ and my services are regularly called upon to write features and interview-based pieces for many titles including Country Walking, Esquire, T3, Sainsburys Fresh Ideas, The Guardian, The Independent and Pregnancy & Birth magazine.

My latest published works include: 'When Is Mummy Coming Back?', a feature examining the lives of widowed fathers which appeared in The Independent (January 2010) in conjunction with the release of the film The Boys Are Back

Also my latest health and fitness magazine feature examined the issue of cycling and infertility in men. From Cycling Plus (Janaury 2010)

These are just recent examples of my work. Others are available on request, as is a fond welcome, an eager willingness to discuss possible work opportunities and details of my freelance rates if you drop me a line at rob.kemp@blueyonder.co.uk
